Old Business:

  • Work on the new school brochure continues with the help of Louisa Lawrence.
  • S.R. will continue with the FACTS tuition program for the 2005-2006 school year
  • The board decided not to move forward with the Art In Action program, due to cost issues and insufficient training. Yvonne is looking for parents with some art training to come in and do projects on a volunteer basis. Approaching students from the Academy Of Art was another suggestion.

New Business:

  • S.R. has implemented a new arrival procedure. Students no longer line up in the middle yard but go directly to their classrooms. The first bell rings at 7.55am and the final bell rings at 8am. As anticipated, this has added an additional 10 minutes of instruction to the school day. All agreed that this a valuable change to the school schedule
