Guest Issues:

  • We received correspondence from a parent with a concern about free dress. Mrs. Bordin addressed the issue explaining that free dress was permitted only when appropriate.
  • Annetta Giambruno wrote in with her concern on the practicality of white shoes for girls. Her daughters do not like to wear black sneakers & she finds the white ones difficult to keep clean. The current school uniform allows both black & white sneakers to give students and parents a choice. The board decided to leave as is.

.

Old Business:

  • Mrs. Bordin researched the publication cost of St Dunstans school brochure - $5000. The Burlingame copy company can print qty 1000 for $1,700. Further work is needed on this project.
  • Terri Murray received 130 responses to her sweatshirt survey.

    Fleece Jacket - 84% yes, 16% no

    Embroidered Sweatshirt - 66% yes, 34% no

The board decided there would be no need for the block jacket as the Athletic board has decided to replace blocks with pins.

.

New Business:

  • Mrs. Bordin will be recruiting a new kindergarten teacher for the 2004-2005 school year.
  • Mrs. Bordin & John Grealish will begin work on the 2004 school budget.
