Old Business:
|
- Mrs. Watt passed out a balance sheet for
the school budget and the pay range guidelines
from the Archdiocese for hiring a maintenance
worker. This worker would be a person on staff,
6 hrs/day, to handle daily problems. A nightly
janitorial service will also be hired for
nightly cleanings.
- Parish Fundraising Binders still need to
be located.
- School Board committee binders need to be
updated.

New Business:
|
- Bob and Mary are stepping down from the
School Board as per term limits. Two new
candidates are needed for 3-year terms.
Elections will be in early May. Possible
candidates with distinct qualities and
qualifications should sought out by the March
meeting.
- Bob discussed the Campaign for the Parish
Building Plan. The campaign will solicit pledges
for the next 10 weeks, to be paid over the next
5 years. Construction will begin June,
2002.
- John M. discussed the Scrip program and
said it is picking up.15-20% ahead of last
year.
- John C. is working on getting more
publicity for the school. He is looking into
having newspapers photograph students for
Catholic School's Week. It was suggested that a
subcommittee be made to assist in the publicity.
People who can do advertising and be a liaison
with San Bruno Cable to have the Students of the
Week published on channel 11, like in the past,
should be sought out.
- Dave explained the traffic pattern in the
morning is going well. Fr. Ring is in the
process of getting the parking spot on Oak,
(between the church and the parking lot
driveway) to be painted white for loading
only.
