Welcome to Kathy Hanley, our new Parish secretary. Kathy has worked at St. Ignatius College Prep and at St. Gabriel’s Parish in San Francisco. I know that you will all be helpful to her as she steps into Joy’s shoes. Also coming to join us at the Parish Office on a half-time basis is Judy DeMartini. Most of you already know Judy and her family as they have served the Parish in so many ways. Judy will serve as receptionist and secretary. I want to thank Mary Bourne and Bev Castro-Leon who have given so much of their time during the past months helping us out as we have tried to realign out Parish staff. It would have been hard to carry on without their dedicated service. I also want to thank the many volunteers who continue to help us with many of the tasks that would not be accomplished without their help. Thank you to Sister Mary and her Confirmation team who prepared our high school students for the Sacrament which they received this past Friday night from Bishop McGrath. The young men and women grew in their faith and in their relationship to God and the Church not only because of your words but, even more so, from your Christian example. Sincerely, Fr. Ring |
