PARISH BULLETIN

The Most Holy Trinity

Dear Parishioners:

Today we celebrate the Mystery of the Holy Trinity- - - the love between God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This love pours forth from our Triune God and embraces each of us, His children. We were chosen by Him as His own before the beginning of time.

To be a Dad is a beautiful gift and an awesome responsibility. Finding the right balance between needed discipline and total acceptance requires a heart open and not afraid of being broken. A Father who loves unconditionally is a reflection of the love of our Heavenly Father. He may not always approve of his child's choices; but there is nothing his child could ever do that would stop a Dad from forgiving, encouraging and loving him or her.

We wish all Father's those here on earth and those now in Heaven, a very Happy Fathers' Day.

Sincerely,
Gene and Anna May

ATTENTION SUMMER TRAVELERS!!!

Will you be going to a far away island this summer or a country thousands and thousands of miles away?

WELL THEN,

you could be in the running for a prize for the church bulletin that is furthest away. Just drop it/them by the rectory on your return. Winner will be announced at the end of summer.

INSPIRATIONAL SPOT

Some Christians are like wheel barrows—
no good unless they're pulled.

Some are trailers—
they have to be pulled.

Some are like kites—
if you don't keep a string on them, they fly away.

Some are like footballs—
you can't tell which way they will bounce next.

Some are like neon lights—
they turn on and off.

And some are like a good watch:
open face, pure gold, quietly busy and full of good works.
