JUBILEE BLESSINGS THIS WEEK TO:
SENIOR CITIZENS

IN OUR HOUSE

Wow! Can you tell that things are cookin’ around here? We are Festivalizing, Renewing, RCIA-ing, preparing for the feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz, planning, rehearsing, etc. Last Thursday night, just about every available space in the parish was in good use! Especially during this Jubilee year, let’s not forget to keep the main thing the main thing: Take some quiet time for prayer each day and keep Sunday Eucharist in your schedule. Don’t forget to breathe! Peace. - Pat Kelly

We welcome into the family of God: Nicholas Uroz, who was baptized in Christ.

We are pleased to have married: Angel Yee & John Hsieh, and Jennifer Strider & Chad Butler. Congratulations!

Pray for the ill: Marlyn Arancibia, Bastiaan Blumenthal, Marcia Bourne, Ann Burns, Sister Cabrini, Arthur Candia, Ana Cosgaya, Imelda Daly, William & Sandra Dill, Adela Florez, Elsie Grech, Randall Guerro, Denise Hawald, Koret Koelman, Muriel Krause, Marky, Rosemary McHale, Jeanne McHugh, Terry McLeod, Richard Quintana, Cyndy Smerdel, Margarita Velez, Josephine Lavoie, Mary Shick, Kari Stellino, Carol Callicotte & Don Vickery.

As a Parish Community, We Pray

On this Jubilee Day for Senior Citizens, may they receive the respect and love they deserve. May the young go to them and be given wisdom, mercy and peace.

Our sincere sympathy to the family of
Wilbert "Bill" Strehl,
who recently passed away.

JUBILEE DAY FOR LIFE

October is the month our Church dedicates to God’s precious gift of Life to all His people from the first moment of conception till the sighing of the last earthly breath. Sunday, October 1st, is the Jubilee Day for Life. Let us celebrate this great gift and vow to protect every life from the pre-born child to the elderly and terminally ill. We each have a voice and vote!

ANOINTING OF THE SICK

"Heal the Sick"! Jesus has charged His Church to take care of the sick by being with them with our prayer of intercession in His Name. Anyone who begins to be in danger of death from sickness or the aging process or serious illness of mind, body or spirit is invited to receive this Sacrament on Sunday, October 8th, at the Noon Mass.

SAINT VINCENT DE PAUL UPDATE

Memorial Sympathy Cards: Available to Parishioners are St. Vincent de Paul Memorial Sympathy Cards that include a picture of St. Vincent holding a child. They are available from our Secretary, Sandy Mangold (650-696-5678) or from our Rectory Office on Crystal Springs Road.

Thank you to: The anonymous donor who donated over $700 to St. Vincent de Paul and to Albertson’s Market for their generous donation.

We acknowledge with gratitude a gift of $1,500.00 from the estate of William J. Vinal Jr., a former parishioner who was residing in San Luis Opisbo when he passed away.
